CPE Suojasauma Oy has appointed Tommi Tolvanen as the company’s new Chief Executive Oôcer.
Tolvanen will assume his role on 4 March 2026.

Tolvanen brings a broad and versatile background in sales and commercial leadership, combined
with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and extensive business development experience. He joins
CPE Suojasauma at an important stage in the company’s growth and is well positioned to further
strengthen operations, customer partnerships, and long-term value creation.

look forward to contributing to its next phase of development,” says Tommi Tolvanen.

At the same time, current CEO Iivo Metsä-Eerola will transition to the role of Chairman of the
Board. Metsä-Eerola has led the company through a significant period of change and integration
following CPE Production’s acquisition of CPE Suojasauma in January 2025. After overseeing the
successful transition, he will now hand over day-to-day leadership to Tolvanen.

CPE Production Oy, a leading supplier of high-quality combat protective equipment from Forssa, Finland, announces the acquisition of IC2 Feeniks Oy, a Finnish manufacturer of high-quality, movable and easy to use protective textile solutions for civil and authority use.

With the acquisition CPE seeks to broaden its portfolio with a range of products that wonderfully suit the company’s focus, help to serve CPE’s customers better and to expand the market of both companies. “We are happy to have IC2 Feeniks join us with their stellar expertise and unique products”, says Harri Kolu, CEO of CPE Production Oy.

IC2 Feeniks Oy will continue its operations in the usual manner, and the company’s personnel and contacts will remain the same. Iivo Metsä-Eerola, CFO of CPE Investment Group, has been appointed as the CEO of IC2 Feeniks Oy.

Following the acquisition by CPE Production Oy, IC2 Feeniks Oy will be known as CPE Suojasauma Oy, signaling the return of the traditional brand the company has been well known for and appreciated by its customers for decades.

So much has changed during past few years. The world is seeing a crisis of an unprecedented nature and effects and I want to congratulate everyone for pulling together.
